Treating hair with laser light can take several sessions — sometimes as many as 10 or 12 — in order to disable all of your follicles. This is because some will grow back faster than others, meaning you have to repeat treatments at regular intervals until they stop growing back altogether.

After Your Treatment
Make sure to avoid excessive sweating or friction on treated areas for at least 24 hours after your treatment. If possible, you should wear loose clothing that doesn’t rub against treated skin for a few days following treatment. You may also want to apply a soothing lotion like aloe vera or coconut oil (or even cold cream) to soothe and moisturize your skin.
Keep in mind that laser hair removal isn’t permanent, but it is effective for many people and lasts longer than shaving! The best way to maximize results is by returning for additional treatments every four weeks until all hair follicles are removed from treated areas.
